Hon. Emmanuel Wangwe's work experience includes serving as a Member of Parliament under the Parliamentary Service Commission from 2013 to 2022. He was the Majority Whip in the Kenya National Assembly from 2020 to 2022. Before joining politics, he held various roles in the petroleum and consultancy sectors, including Head of Marketing at Jade Petroleum Limited (2006–2012), Sales and Distribution Manager at Metro Petroleum Limited (2001–2005), and Accounts Assistant at Ampef Consultancy (1998–2000).

He has been a member of several parliamentary committees. From 2020 to 2022, he served in the House Business Committee, Budget and Appropriations Committee, Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, Committee on Selection, and Committee on Appointments. Between 2017 and 2020, he was the Vice Chairperson of the Agriculture and Livestock Committee. From 2013 to 2017, he was a member of the Transport, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development Committee, as well as the Committee on NG-CDF.

Hon. Wangwe was awarded the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS). His special skills include marketing, banking, finance, and credit management.
