Hon. Nicholas Scott Tindi Mwale is the Member of Parliament for Butere Constituency in Kenya. Born on November 4, 1986, in Mumare village, Butere Sub-County, he is the youngest son of the late Major Abel Mwale and Decima Omusula Mwale. He pursued Aeronautical Engineering at Nairobi Technical Training Institute, graduating in 2008, and later studied Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship at Kenya Methodist University. Before entering politics, he worked as an aeronautical engineer at Mission Aviation Fellowship and founded Tyndy International Ltd, specializing in consultancy and agribusiness. In 2017, he was elected as the MP for Butere Constituency under the Amani National Congress (ANC) party. He is also the founder of the Tindi Mwale Foundation, which focuses on community empowerment and socio-economic development. Hon. Mwale is married to Moureen Ntinyari Tindi Mwale, and they have two children.

In 2015, local leaders and clan elders from Butere encouraged Tindi Mwale to run for the Member of Parliament seat. After consultations, he decided to vie for the position in the 2017 general elections. He joined the Amani National Congress (ANC) party and was elected as the MP for Butere Constituency on August 8, 2017, securing 18,235 votes. In Parliament, he serves as the ANC Parliamentary Group Whip and is a member of both the Public Investments Committee and the Energy Committee.
