Prof. Jaldesa has served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Nairobi. Throughout his academic career, he has published numerous research papers and has been actively involved in medical education and mentorship
He is renowned for his strong stance against FGM, a practice prevalent in his community, the Borana. His advocacy has been instrumental in raising awareness and combating this cultural issue.
