Ibrahim Abdi Saney is a Kenyan politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wajir North Constituency. He was first elected to the National Assembly in March 2013 as a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), part of the Coalition for Reforms & Democracy
Prior to his political career, he was the CEO of a local community-based organization in Wajir
During his tenure, Saney was a Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security member.
He has been vocal on issues affecting his constituents, including condemning abductions and killings allegedly involving law enforcement officers.
Saney has also expressed concerns about the tribal nature of political parties in Kenya, advocating for more democratic principles within party structures.
